Steps to Download QuickBooks Desktop 2016 on Windows & Mac

Below are are the steps you can follow to download QB Desktop 2016 version:

For Windows:

• Step 1: Navigate to this link: https://downloads.quickbooks.com/app/qbdt/products.
• Step 2: Select your country and product.
• Step 3: Choose 2016 as the version, then click Search.
• Step 4: Press Download to start the downloading process.

Once the software is downloaded successfully, install it. It will ask for the license and product codes, you can find those information when you log in to CAMPS. Then, just enter your Intuit credentials to log in.

For Mac:

• Step 1: Choose System preferences from the Apple menu.
• Step 2: Select View, then click on the Date & Time.
• Step 3: Type the administrator name and password if the padlock at the bottom of the window is closed.
• Step 4: Edit the date and select Set Date & time automatically to set the date and time according to one of Apple’s Network Time Protocol( NTP) servers.
• Step 5: Close the system preferences and then open QuickBooks.

Important Note: QuickBooks Desktop was discontinued in the UK on 30, June 2023, but there are ex-subscribers who are still able to use the software. From May, access will no longer be possible on subscribed versions of QuickBooks Desktop 2016 and above, though we are requesting all users to migrate to another software solution before this date.
